How can we help?
Set up your camera page, style the polaroid, share the link, collect every photo, and pick a plan that fits your event.
Getting started
From sign-up to your first live camera page.
- 1
Create your account and sign in
Create an account on the Create account page, confirm your email from the link we send, then set up your first page from the dashboard.
- 2
Create your page
In the dashboard, pick a display name and a link, e.g. snaploom.net/sunrise-graduation. Links use lowercase letters, numbers and dashes, and they are permanent, so choose carefully.
- 3
Make it yours
Pick a theme, design your photo card (caption, font, logo), and set when the camera should close. The getting-started checklist on Overview walks you through it.
- 4
Share and collect
Your page is live the moment you create it. Share the link or print the QR code; every photo guests take lands in Dashboard → Photos.
Questions
Your camera page
What guests see when they open your link.
- 1
Open the link
Guests scan your QR code or tap the link. It opens in the phone browser: no app to install and no account to create.
- 2
Pick up the camera
They see a Snaploom camera in your theme’s colours. A tap turns it over to a live viewfinder, like picking up a real instant camera.
- 3
Snap
They can switch between the front and back camera, between 0.5x and 1x where the phone allows, and use the timer and flash.
- 4
Keep the polaroid
The photo comes out as a branded polaroid they can save or share. A copy lands in your dashboard.
Questions
Page setup
Who can open your camera, when it closes, and whether search engines list it.
- 1
Public or private
Public: anyone with the link can use the camera. Private: only you, while logged in. Set up in private, then switch to public when doors open.
- 2
Event deadline
Set a closing date and time and the camera stops taking photos then, showing your own closing message. Leave it empty and the camera stays open.
- 3
Search engines
Turn off search listing for private events like weddings. Search engines are asked not to list the camera or gallery; pages already listed can take a few weeks to drop out.
- 4
Name and link
You can rename the page anytime. The link (snaploom.net/your-link) is permanent.
Questions
Theme
The look of your camera page, and the colour of the camera itself.
- 1
Pick a theme
Dashboard → Theme has 13 presets, light and dark, from Snaploom (the default) and Polaroid Classic to Sakura, Neon Dark and Ember. Each sets the page background, accents and the camera’s colours.
- 2
Save and preview
Save the theme, then open your live page in a new tab to see it as guests will.
Questions
Photo card
The polaroid every guest takes home.
- 1
Background
Choose a solid colour, a two-colour gradient (with angle), or upload a photo. This sits behind each photo and is separate from the page theme.
- 2
Caption and font
Write a caption, like your event name, or switch to Random line and add up to 20 captions; each photo draws one. Pick any Google Font, size and colour.
- 3
Logo
Upload a PNG with a transparent background. Set its position, size and opacity. A soft scrim keeps it readable on any photo.
- 4
Save
The preview updates as you edit. Save the card and new photos use the new design straight away.
Questions
Photos & sharing
Your gallery, downloads, and connecting other tools.
- 1
Your private gallery
Dashboard → Photos shows every photo taken on your page. Only you can see it. Download one, or select up to 150 at a time and download them as a ZIP.
- 2
Public gallery
Turn on Public gallery to publish photos at your-link/gallery. Copy the gallery link, embed code or JSON API from the same screen.
- 3
Review before it appears
Turn on review and new photos stay out of the public gallery until you approve them. Guests are never told a photo is waiting.
- 4
Embed and webhooks
Paste the embed code on your website. Or add a webhook: we send a signed POST to your HTTPS URL for every photo. Works with Zapier, Make, or your own server.
Questions
Plans & billing
What’s free, what a paid plan adds, and how paying works.
- 1
Start free
The free plan includes 2 camera pages and 100 MB of storage, about 250 photos. Enough for a small event. Your plan and usage are on Dashboard → Billing.
- 2
Choose a plan
Need more room or pages? Dashboard → Billing → Upgrade. Pick a plan and a length; longer plans cost less per month on your first subscription.
- 3
Pay
Pay by eSewa, Khalti or bank QR, or by ConnectIPS / bank transfer. Pay the exact amount, then enter the transaction ID so we can match it.
- 4
We switch it on
A person on our team checks every payment, usually within a few hours, turns your plan on and emails you. Your receipt appears in Dashboard → Billing.
Questions
Account
Profile, billing details, password, and deleting your account.
- 1
Profile
Dashboard → Account → Profile: your name and which emails you get from us. Your login email can’t be changed here; email support if you need to.
- 2
Billing details
The name, phone and address printed on your receipts. Only needed if you upgrade.
- 3
Security
Change your password, or delete your account. Deleting removes your login, pages and all photos for good.
